At Kona Mantas, we’re here to help you create memories you’ll treasure forever. We know that travel plans don’t always go perfectly, and sometimes life throws curveballs. Our policies are designed to be fair, flexible when we can, and always focused on giving you the best experience possible.

Refund Policy

Manta Ray Guarantee

Seeing manta rays is one of the most magical experiences Kona has to offer. While mantas are wild animals and we can’t control nature, we’re proud to offer our Manta Ray Guarantee: if you don’t see a manta on your trip, we’ll do our very best to reschedule you for the same or another night (based on availability) at no extra cost.

Changing or Canceling a Tour

Get in Touch: If something comes up, please call us at 808-698-5202 or email us at konamantatours@gmail.com as soon as you can.

Share Your Details: We’ll just need the name, date and tour time your reservation was made under.

We’ll Confirm: Once we process your cancellation, we’ll send you a confirmation email. If you don’t see it within 24 hours, please check in again so we can make sure everything went through.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

We understand if you need to cancel or reschedule. Here are our guidelines for such occasions:

48+ Hours Notice: Cancel two or more days before your tour for a full refund—no problem at all.

Less Than 48 Hours: Normally, cancellations inside 48 hours are non-refundable. But if we’re able to fill all of the seats in your party with another booking, we’ll gladly issue a full refund.

No-Shows: If you don’t show up for your tour without notice, we’re unable to offer a refund. If you are late for your tour, we will do our best to reschedule you on the same or another night based on availability. Refunds will not be issued if you miss your tour time and cannot reschedule.

Other Circumstances & Guidelines

Weather and Emergencies

Ocean Safety First: If we need to cancel because of high surf, strong winds, or unsafe conditions, you’ll always have the choice to reschedule or receive a full refund.

Medical or Personal Emergencies: We completely understand that unexpected things happen. With documentation, we’ll do our best to find a fair and caring solution.

Guest Guidelines

Minimum Age: Guests must be 4 years or older to join our tours. Need to parent swap? We can accommodate that! Call us for details on how to get your whole family the best experience.

Check-In: Please arrive at least 60 minutes to the check in location before departure so we can get you checked in and out on the water smoothly. If you arrive late and miss your tour, we will do our best to get you on a later tour the same or another night based on availability. Refunds will not be issued if you miss your tour time and cannot reschedule. 

Arriving Prepared: Showing up on time and ready helps us make the experience smooth and enjoyable for everyone.
